Batteries wear out after a few years. If the laptop only lasts a short time unplugged, shuts off at 20–30%, or the case is lifting or the touchpad is bulging, it's time for a new battery.
A swollen battery should be replaced soon. Stop charging it and keep it away from heat until then.
Drop-off is by appointment. I'm often out on house calls, so please call or text before coming by. On-site visits available.
