Keys not working: new keyboard
Dead keys, sticky keys, or after a spill.
What's included
- Install and test every key
Not included: The keyboard, quoted before ordering.
Keys that don't type, type twice, or stick after a spill usually mean the keyboard needs replacing.
Some keyboards drop in. Many HP, Lenovo and Dell laptops have the keyboard riveted to the top case, which takes longer and has its own price.
Drop-off is by appointment. I'm often out on house calls, so please call or text before coming by. On-site visits available.

Every price is posted. You get the exact total before any work starts. See all prices
Call or text to set a time. I find out what's wrong.
I explain the problem in plain words and give you the exact total before any work starts.
If I can't fix it, you pay $0.
$45 per device (free during the October offer). It's waived if you go ahead with the repair, and there's no charge if it can't be fixed.
Each price is marked. "Part included" means the price is all-in. "+ part" means I quote the part for your exact model before ordering, so you know the full total before you say yes. You can also bring your own part.
Most repairs don't touch your data. When a reinstall is needed, the "reinstall + data backup" service saves your documents, photos, desktop and bookmarks first and restores them afterward.
